Faced with the high energy demands of paper production, our Clermont, Quebec, mill rose to the challenge with an innovative energy recovery project to lower its energy use, in collaboration with Hydro‑Québec. The initiative has yielded significant results, reducing the site’s annual energy use by 15 million kilowatt-hours (kWh): enough energy saved to power 1,353 homes!
