Richard Tremblay is the senior vice president of Pulp Operations at Domtar. With more than 37 years in the forest products industry, he brings significant and valuable experience to the role.

Mr. Tremblay previously served as president of Domtar’s Pulp & Tissue business unit from February 2024 to February 2026, and as senior vice president, Pulp, Paper and Tissue Operations (Pulp & Tissue business unit), within the Paper Excellence Group (rebranded as Domtar) from July 2023 to January 2024. He held several senior leadership roles at legacy company Resolute Forest Products from June 2011 to February 2018, culminating in his position as senior vice president, Pulp and Paper Operations, from March 2018 to July 2023. Prior to joining Resolute in June 2011, Mr. Tremblay served as general manager of several mills at Smurfit-Stone Container Corporation between 2002 and 2011.

Richard Tremblay holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Université de Sherbrooke, Quebec.
