François Langdeau, Interim Chief Information Officer – North America, joined Domtar in 2020. He is responsible for the company’s information technology strategy, infrastructure, cybersecurity, operations and transformation initiatives across North America.

Mr. Langdeau has more than 30 years of experience in information technology leadership across complex, multi-site organizations. Since joining Domtar, he has played a key leadership role in the technology integration and modernization initiatives following the combination of Domtar, Resolute Forest Products and Paper Excellence. Prior to being appointed Chief Information Officer, he served as vice-president, Infrastructure and senior director, Infrastructure.

Prior to joining Domtar, Mr. Langdeau held senior technology leadership positions at Intact Financial Corporation and Loto-Québec.

Mr. Langdeau earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (computer engineering) from Polytechnique Montréal and a bachelor’s degree in physics from Université de Sherbrooke. He is also a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.
