Senior Vice President, Human Resources – North America (Paper Excellence Group)
Daniel Ouellet has been appointed senior vice president, Human Resources – North America for the Domtar. He assumed his new role on October 4, 2023.
Mr. Ouellet previously served as senior vice president, Human Resources, for Resolute Forest Products from May 2018 to October 3, 2023, as vice president, Human Resources, for Resolute’s Canadian and U.S. operations from January 2016 to May 2018, and as vice president, Human Resources, for its Canadian operations from November 2013 to January 2016. He held a range of other human resources positions since joining Resolute in September 2000 and also acquired operational experience leading the company’s sawmill operations in the Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean region of Quebec. Prior to joining Resolute, Mr. Ouellet worked with Alliance Forest Products, Alcan and a regional trade union.
