Glenwood Sawmill
Glenwood sawmill produces southern yellow pine dimensional lumber as well as radius edge decking used by the construction industry in the Southcentral United States. The mill is well positioned for growth, in proximity to some of the markets with the highest population growth in the country.
Sanford Mill
The Domtar tissue mill in Sanford, FL, has the capability of producing a wide range of bath and towel for at-home and away-from-home markets, and is one of the few fully integrated tissue manufacturers in North America. The two tissue facilities in Florida have a combined annual production capacity of 62,000 short tons (56,000 metric tons) across three tissue machines and eight converting lines and offer virgin and recycled products in a range of grades.

Calhoun Mill
Domtar’s Calhoun mill, established in 1954, produces towel and tissue products for customers that include some of the country’s largest retailers. Through the addition of the tissue operation at Calhoun, and in conjunction with additional tissue manufacturing and
converting facilities in Florida and Maryland, Domtar is building a competitive integrated tissue business serving the North American market. In 2018, the mill added a new $20-million distribution center to the operation.
Menominee Mill
The mill became part of Resolute Forest Products in 2015 and the Paper Excellence Group in 2023 and is ideally situated to serve customers in the Eastern United States.
Coosa Pines Mill
Domtar’s Coosa Pines mill, located on Alabama’s Coosa River, began operations in 1950 as a joint venture between Kimberly-Clark and newspaper publishers. For many years, the mill produced newsprint for publishers located predominantly in the Southeastern United States. Fluff pulp was added to its product offering in 1976 with the installation of a new kraft line, a recovery boiler and a pulp dryer. In 2000, a $63 million “cluster rule” upgrade to the pulp mill was finalized. The facility now produces kraft pulp used worldwide and is considered a leading manufacturer of pulp used in tissue and absorbent consumer products.
Windsor Mill
Located in the Eastern Townships Region of Quebec, Canada, Domtar’s Windsor Mill is the last fully integrated fine paper mill in Canada. The mill manages 400,000 acres of private forest lands surrounding the mill. Originally built by Angus, Logan & Co. in 1864, the mill now produces bleached hardwood wet-lap market pulp and uncoated freesheet paper, including high-brightness opaques, multi-purpose digital papers copy paper, laser forms bond, envelope and recycled content. The mill is known for its innovative approach to sustainability. It leases the use of its forestlands for hunting, fishing and hiking clubs, as well as for maple syrup production.
Rothschild Mill
Originally opened in 1909, Domtar’s Rothschild, Wisconsin, mill is home to industry-leading, high-quality commercial printing paper brands Cougar® and Lynx®. The mill’s fiber line boasts a unique partnership for lignin byproduct manufacturing and biomass energy cogeneration, as well as its own sustainability platform with 100 percent of the steam needed to power the mill generated from renewable resources.
