Our Approach

Domtar’s pulp mills in the United States and Canada produce approximately 1.8 million air-dried metric tons (ADMT) of market pulp every year. Our mills are large, modern and located in regions with rich, natural supplies of wood. Through economies of scale, utilization of modern technology and access to good wood supplies, our mills are efficient, competitive assets.

We make pulp for a variety of end uses, many with specific technical requirements. We work closely with customers to develop grades to meet their needs, and our mills take pride in producing those grades consistently and reliably - every day.
