Senior Vice President, Pulp, Paper, and Packaging Operations
He received his Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina. He currently serves on the TAPPI board of directors; the National Council for Air and Stream Improvement’s board of governors; and on the board of trustees for Western Michigan University’s Paper Technology Foundation. He was inducted into TAPPI’s Couch Pit Pulp & Paper Society in 2015, and he received the organization’s Ray H. Cross award for his contribution to community service in 2012. In 2011, Mr. Edwards was recognized as South Carolina Economic Ambassador of the Year for Marlboro County, where he was a board member for the Marlboro County Economic Development Partnership for many years.
