Claudio Cotrim is a senior executive with nearly 30 years of experience leading operations and driving strategic transformation in large industrial organizations across global markets. He has been active in the pulp and paper industry since 2004 and has been with the group since 2016.

He currently serves as Chief Corporate Officer, with responsibility for leading the company’s global corporate functions, including Strategy, Legal, Information Technology, Sustainability, Public Affairs, and Procurement.

With more than two decades of experience in the pulp and paper sector, Mr. Cotrim has a proven track record of driving operational excellence, strengthening corporate governance, and advancing sustainable growth initiatives.

Throughout his career, he has held leadership roles across finance, human resources, corporate planning, legal, and supply chain, bringing a multidisciplinary perspective to complex business challenges.

He previously served as Managing Director of Paper Excellence Brazil, where he was responsible for representing shareholder interests and leading a complex, multi-year corporate matter, coordinating legal strategy, communications, and institutional relations, and contributing to its successful resolution.

Mr. Cotrim began his career at Ernst & Young and brings international experience, including involvement in a joint venture in the chemical sector with DuPont de Nemours. He holds a degree in Business Administration and an MBA from Fundação Getulio Vargas.
