Joseph Ragan joined Domtar in February 2020 and brings with him extensive global financial leadership experience. Over the course of his career, he has led all major areas of finance, including global reporting, treasury, investor relations, international tax, financial planning and analysis, mergers and acquisitions, and both internal and external audit. He brings this comprehensive expertise to Domtar where he plays a key role in driving financial strategy and operational performance.

Prior to joining Domtar, Mr. Ragan served as Chief Financial Officer of Resideo/Honeywell Homes (NYSE – REZI). His international career has included expatriate assignments in London, Luxembourg, and Buenos Aires,  and he has successfully led sophisticated finance and tax structures across Europe, Latin America, China, and the United States.

Mr. Ragan holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of the State of New York and a Master of Science in Accounting from George Mason University. He  is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Virginia and began his finance career with Deloitte.

In addition to his corporate role, Mr. Ragan serves on the Board of Baird Medical(NASDAQ: BDMD) and also serves as Audit Committee Chairman for USA Judo, a 501^©3 non-profit organization.
