As highlighted earlier in our gallery, DS+CO has a long history of community service. One of their recent initiatives focused on helping make healthcare accessible for children at Golisano Children’s Hospital.
To help support this mission, DS+CO designed an invitation for a “Night in Paris”-themed fundraising gala, helping generate awareness and encourage donor and sponsor support for a pediatric emergency department expansion
Part of the magic of print is creating something people want to touch, explore and keep. This invitation was designed to do exactly that. The invitation and RSVP was printed in 4-color-process CMYK on Cougar® 100 lb. Cover, Smooth Finish with a Skandacor gold foil applied over a soft-touch coating. They both included a series of illustrations, vintage photography, and folded poster with all the necessary event details. The entire piece was enclosed in a smoke-gray envelope, custom-lined with a map of Paris and its landmarks. Specific VIPs received a ticket voucher that was printed on Lynx® 100 lb. Cover, Smooth Finish.
Ultimately, “Night in Paris” event was a huge success. With 700+ people in attendance, the event raised over $1.6 million dedicated to expanding and renovating the Pediatric Emergency Department.
By combining compelling design, premium finishes and quality paper, DS+CO created an invitation that people wanted to hold onto, helping extend the impact of the message beyond the mailbox.
