Jennifer Johnson is Domtar’s Vice President of Global Communications. She oversees the company’s wide-ranging communications operations throughout the Americas and Europe.

Since joining Domtar’s predecessor company Paper Excellence Group in early 2019, she has progressed from leading public affairs for a single business unit to overseeing communications for the global enterprise. sShe has worked extensively with a wide range of business and community leaders, legislators, regulators, policy makers and media stakeholders to strengthen the company’s presence in  the communities in which it operates. She has also led internal culture and change management communications through two major M&A transactions, subsequent integration, and the company’s rebranding and identity launch.

Ms. Johnson has accumulated 25 years of broad and deep experience in solving complex issues, navigating high-stakes communications and public affairs challenges and managing teams. Prior to joining the Paper Excellence Group, she spent a number of years leading communications and public affairs practices in diverse industries – including telecom, utilities, industrial and construction. She began her career working in the United States Congress.

Jennifer Johnson holds a master’s degree from the George Washington University School of Political Management in Washington, D.C. and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas.
