Description

For the past twenty years, Hemlock has celebrated the holiday season with an annual holiday wrap—a tradition that allows them to experiment, collaborate, and push the boundaries of print as they explore concepts that matter to them as a business.

For their Christmas 2025 wrap, they partnered with Asimov Collective—a group that specializes in the intersections of technology and design. They looked to the natural world for their spark, combining themes of ecology, materiality, and scale with their most advanced sustainable stocks and finish techniques.

Drawing inspiration from the Powers of Ten, a short documentary film that explores the relative scale of the universe, Hemlock successfully created a piece that captures both the vastness of space and the fine, molecular detail that exists with nature.

With the designs “A Snowflake of Winter Poetry” and “Particle Accelerator Vector Fields” printed on Lynx paper, the 2025 Christmas wrap is truly one for the books. Produced on 70 lb. text, this piece highlights the brand’s exceptional formation and superior opacity. The sheet handles heavy ink coverage with ease, maintaining impressive detail and crisp image sharpness throughout.

This sample also features a peppermint-scented varnish that perfectly captures the spirit of the season. The impact of scent in print is measurable, and research shows that pairing visual and sensory elements creates a rich, immersive experience that leaves a lasting impression.
