When the Kansas City Art Institute (KCAI) brought its Annual Report back to print after a one-year hiatus, the goal was clear: create an elevated piece that truly stood out.
Designed by KCAI alum Egil Enriquez-Gudiel and art directed by Travis Stewart, this project is a celebration of the achievements KCAI experienced in the 2023-2024 academic year.The report, highlighting photography and artwork by KCAI students, is resplendent with crisp detail, rich blacks, and a luxurious feel. A Spot UV treatment applied to the cover highlights the visual elements, reinforcing the piece’s prestige. The team decided to print the report on Cougar Super Smooth, which further elevated the piece’s impact.
The KCAI Annual Report’s return to print was met with enthusiastic praise from alumni, faculty, donors, and the broader community.
