Direct Thermal Base

Our direct thermal base stock performs well in coating operations allowing our customers to produce high-quality direct thermal papers. Thermal paper made using Domtar’s base stock is widely used to produce grades with highly readable barcodes and text proven successful in a wide variety of applications. This highly-technical base stock is engineered to give optimized performance to the coated product in a wide variety of laminating, matrix-stripping, sheeting, converting and imaging processes.

Coated Thermal POS

Domtar’s specialty coated paper provides consistency in imaging efficiency, image quality and efficient flow through the printer mechanism when used in direct thermal print applications. The lineup includes options in basis weight, caliper and dynamic sensitivity.
