Awarded by Great Place To Work® – 2019 and 2020
Domtar has been certified as a Great Place To Work® based on a confidential, externally-run survey of U.S. employees in Pulp & Paper and Corporate functions, along with an analysis of our employee programs and policies.
Results were evaluated by the Great Place to Work organization, comparing Domtar to some of the best employee-ranked companies around the world.
Awarded by Forbes – 2018, 2019 and 2023
Domtar has been names as one of Canada’s Best Employers in 2018 (ranked 186), 2019 (ranked 151) and 2023 (ranked 291).
Canada’s Best Employers list is compiled by Forbes in collaboration with online research firm Statista, ranking 300 Canadian companies across 25 industry sectors.
Statista annually surveys 8,000 Canadians working for large firms and institutions—those with 500 or more employees, asking them whether they would recommend their employers on a scale of 0 through 10, with 10 being the most positive. Respondents were surveyed through online access panels—not through their employers—and their gender, age, region, education level and ethnicity was representative of Canadian employees in general.
Awarded by Forbes – 2022
Domtar has been recognized as one of Canada’s Best Employers For Diversity by Forbes for 2022.
Forbes partnered with market research company Statista to identify the Canadian companies most dedicated to diversity, equity and inclusion with our inaugural ranking of Canada’s Best Employers for Diversity. The list was compiled by surveying 10,000 Canadians working for businesses with at least 500 employees in Canada. The final list ranks the 150 employers that not only received the most recommendations but also boast the most diverse boards and executive ranks and the most proactive diversity and inclusion initiatives.
