Resolute is helping advance an exciting off-highway automated vehicle (AV) technology known as truck platooning. Truck platooning involves a convoy of trucks that are linked together electronically, all operated by an experienced driver in the lead truck. Chris Pearson, a welder at Skookumchuck Pulp, and Jason Sherratt, a past mill employee, were recently recognized by the Kimberly RCMP for saving a three-year-old girl’s life. Resolute Employees Join Local Scouts to Plant 800 Trees

On May 30, employees from our Ontario woodlands operations joined local scouts to plant 800 trees in just two hours! The planting event took place at Wishart Conservation Area, a 221-hectare spruce and jack pine forest in the boreal zone managed by the Lakehead Region Conservation Authority, which maintains the trails, parking areas, boat launches and other facilities located within the region.  Members of our forestry team happily answered the scouts’ questions on silviculture and forest dynamics, prompting numerous positive comments

In June, Resolute won the 2023 Diversity and Inclusion Award from The Norns Awards, a global competition highlighting excellence and innovation.
