Congratulations Gracie Crafts, Indspire Scholarship Recipient

Gracie began her Master of Science in Forestry at the University of British Columbia last fall. Paper Excellence has committed $200,000 to support the rebuilding efforts for the individuals, families, and communities in Shelburne and Barrington, Nova Scotia, impacted by the wildfires in June 2023. Chris Pearson, a welder at Skookumchuck Pulp, and Jason Sherratt, a past mill employee, were recently recognized by the Kimberly RCMP for saving a three-year-old girl’s life. Supporting Indigenous Learning on the Sunshine Coast

As part of their ongoing Indigenous Reconciliation work, staff from Howe Sound Pulp & Paper (HSPP) forged a relationship with School District 46 – Indigenous Learning and asked how the mill could best support their programs.
