C&rsquo;est le message que Talia Massey, responsable de l&rsquo;acquisition des talents chez Domtar, transmet \u00e0 ses coll\u00e8gues de l&rsquo;industrie qui cherchent \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer leur culture en mati\u00e8re d&rsquo;IED. <br>\n<img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 300px; height: 320px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.domtar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/TaliaMassey_headshot_small.jpg\" align=\"right\" hspace=\"15\" vspace=\"15\"><\/p>\n<p>En tant que recruteuse, Mme Massey sait qu&rsquo;il est important de ratisser large lors du processus d&#8217;embauche, mais elle sait aussi qu&rsquo;il ne s&rsquo;agit que de la premi\u00e8re \u00e9tape.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0On ne peut pas se contenter d&#8217;embaucher pour devenir une entreprise plus diversifi\u00e9e\u00a0\u00bb, dit-elle. \u00ab\u00a0M\u00eame si nous recrutons des candidats diversifi\u00e9s, ces efforts sont vains si nous ne favorisons pas une bonne culture d&rsquo;entreprise. Les gens doivent se sentir \u00e0 l&rsquo;aise dans leur travail.\u00a0\u00bb <\/p>\n<p>Mme Massey partagera ce point de vue et d&rsquo;autres id\u00e9es sur l&rsquo;IED lors de <a href=\"https:\/\/tappicon.org\/?_TAPPICon_\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TAPPICon 2021<\/a>, le 4 mai. Sous le th\u00e8me \u00ab\u00a0Reshaping Resilience Through Diversity, Equity and Inclusion\u00a0\u00bb, elle donnera des conseils sur la fa\u00e7on dont les entreprises peuvent construire une culture plus ouverte. <\/p>\n<h2>L&rsquo;IED requiert l&rsquo;engagement de tous<\/h2>\n<p>L&rsquo;un des points cl\u00e9s de Massey est que tout le monde peut contribuer \u00e0 faire bouger l&rsquo;aiguille. Pour r\u00e9ussir \u00e0 cultiver un environnement DEI sain, les efforts ne doivent pas se limiter au recrutement, ni m\u00eame aux ressources humaines. Chaque secteur de l&rsquo;entreprise joue un r\u00f4le, dit-elle.  <\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0En fin de compte, pour que le changement se produise au niveau de l&rsquo;organisation, la mise en place d&rsquo;une \u00e9quipe interfonctionnelle pour se concentrer sur l&rsquo;IED devrait \u00eatre une priorit\u00e9 absolue\u00a0\u00bb, dit-elle. Cela ne n\u00e9cessite pas d&rsquo;importantes ressources financi\u00e8res, mais il faut y consacrer r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement du temps et de l&rsquo;attention. <\/p>\n<p>M. Massey fait partie du Conseil de la diversit\u00e9 et de l&rsquo;inclusion de Domtar, qui compte 12 membres issus de l&rsquo;ensemble de l&rsquo;entreprise. Le conseil est parrain\u00e9 par le pr\u00e9sident-directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral John D. Williams. <\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Naturellement, j&rsquo;apporte au conseil le point de vue de l&rsquo;acquisition des talents\u00a0\u00bb, explique M. Massey. \u00ab\u00a0Mais en tant que recruteur, je connais des gens dans toute l&rsquo;entreprise et je vois l&rsquo;importance de l&rsquo;inclusion et de l&rsquo;\u00e9quit\u00e9. Je suis un fervent d\u00e9fenseur de l&rsquo;\u00e9ducation des employ\u00e9s au sein de l&rsquo;organisation. <img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 300px; height: 400px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.domtar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Recruiting_TM_2019_002_small.jpg\" align=\"right\" hspace=\"15\" vspace=\"15\"><\/p>\n<p>Aider les gens \u00e0 prendre conscience des pr\u00e9jug\u00e9s inconscients est un bon point de d\u00e9part. Domtar \u00e9largira la formation sur ce sujet en 2021, tout en d\u00e9ployant d&rsquo;autres efforts pour \u00e9largir les perspectives autour de l&rsquo;IED. <\/p>\n<p>Selon Mme Massey, ces actions profitent \u00e0 tout le monde. En mettant l&rsquo;accent sur l&rsquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/live-domtar-newsroom-2020.pantheonsite.io\/sustainability-commitment-attracts-talent\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">embauche de talents en d\u00e9but de carri\u00e8re<\/a>, Mme Massey s&rsquo;adresse chaque ann\u00e9e \u00e0 des centaines de jeunes.
