Deux employ\u00e9s des op\u00e9rations foresti\u00e8res de R\u00e9solu en Ontario figurent parmi les laur\u00e9ats des Prix d’excellence 2022 de l’Association des produits forestiers du Canada (APFC). Le programme rend hommage aux personnes qui contribuent \u00e0 faire du secteur canadien des produits forestiers un chef de file mondial en mati\u00e8re d’am\u00e9nagement forestier durable et qui font progresser les avantages environnementaux, sociaux et \u00e9conomiques de la foresterie canadienne. Selon Derek Nighbor, pr\u00e9sident et chef de la direction de l’APFC, \u00a0\u00bb l’APFC a lanc\u00e9 l’initiative des Prix d’excellence en 2018 afin d’honorer certains de nos meilleurs \u00e9l\u00e9ments et de c\u00e9l\u00e9brer des personnes sp\u00e9ciales qui accomplissent un travail incroyable dans notre industrie. \u00a0\u00bb <\/p>\n\n

Tom Ratz<\/strong>, directeur de la foresterie, a re\u00e7u le prix du membre exceptionnel de l’ann\u00e9e, qui est d\u00e9cern\u00e9 aux personnes qui se sont surpass\u00e9es pour promouvoir les valeurs de la gestion de l’environnement, renforcer les communaut\u00e9s foresti\u00e8res et soutenir les coll\u00e8gues et les partenaires du secteur. <\/p>\n\n

Christa Campbell<\/strong>, coordinatrice, Foresterie, a re\u00e7u le prix Rising Star, qui r\u00e9compense les jeunes femmes et hommes de l’industrie des produits forestiers qui apportent chaque jour passion et fiert\u00e9 \u00e0 leur travail et apportent une contribution unique \u00e0 leur lieu de travail. Christa a lanc\u00e9 plusieurs nouvelles initiatives chez R\u00e9solu, comme la plantation d’arbres, la production d’une vid\u00e9o \u00e9ducative sur les op\u00e9rations de r\u00e9colte et l’organisation de visites de la for\u00eat pour les enseignants. <\/p>\n\n
