Melissa Anderson

Senior Vice-President, Human Resources

Has been Vice-President, Human Resources since January 2010.

Daniel Buron

Senior Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Has been the Senior Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer of Domtar since May 2004. He joined Domtar in 1999. Prior to 2004, he was Domtar’s Vice-President, Finance, Pulp and Paper Sales Division and, prior to 2002, Vice-President and Controller. 

Michael Edwards

Senior Vice-President, Pulp and Paper Manufacturing

Formerly Vice-President, Fine Paper Manufacturing, of Weyerhaeuser as of 2002. Since joining Weyerhaeuser in 1994 he held various management positions in the pulp and paper operations. Prior to Weyerhaeuser, he worked at Domtar for 11 years. As Senior Vice-President, he is responsible for pulp and paper manufacturing operations.

Zygmunt Jablonski

Senior Vice-President, Law and Corporate Affairs

Has been Senior Vice-President, Law and Corporate Affairs since July 2009 and General Counsel since January 2009. Mr. Jablonski is responsible for Domtar’s Legal Affairs, Secretariat, Sustainability and Environmental Affairs. He is also responsible for Corporate Communications & Investor Relations, Government Relations and Internal Audit.

Patrick Loulou

Senior Vice-President, Corporate Development

Mr. Loulou has been Senior Vice-President, Corporate Development since 2007 and in this role he is responsible for assisting in the value optimization of our assets. Prior to joining Domtar, Mr. Loulou was with the BCE/Bell Canada organization, where his responsibilities ranged from planning and performance management to driving operational effectiveness. He is also a former Associate Partner at the management-consulting firm of McKinsey & Company.

Richard L. Thomas

Senior Vice-President, Sales and Marketing

Was Vice-President of Fine Papers for Weyerhaeuser since 2005. Prior to 2005, he was Vice-President for Business Papers.  He joined Weyerhaeuser in 2002 when Willamette Industries, Inc. was acquired by Weyerhaeuser. At Willamette, he held various management positions in operations since joining in 1992. As Senior Vice-President, he is responsible for pulp and paper sales, customer service, product development and the marketing of all pulp and paper grades produced at the mills.

Mark Ushpol

Senior Vice-President, Distribution

Mark Ushpol, age 48, is the Senior Vice-President, Distribution of the Company. Mr. Ushpol joined Domtar in January 2010. Previously, he was Sales and Marketing Director of Mondi Europe & International Uncoated Fine Paper, based in Vienna Austria, where he lead global uncoated fine paper sales.

He has over 22 years of experience in senior marketing and sales management with the last 15 years in the pulp and paper sector. Prior to that, he was involved in the plastics industry in South Africa for 8 years. He joined the NPTA (National Paper Trade Association) Board in January 2012.
