Our efforts to implement third-party certified forest management practices in our operations, as well as our ongoing compliance with environmental laws and regulations, and continued support of various conservation initiatives earned us a place on the Dow Jones Sustainability World Indexes (DJSI) for six years running, from 2000 to 2005. In 2005, Domtar became part of the Jantzi Social Index® (JSI®), a socially screened, market capitalization-weighted common stock index consisting of 60 Canadian companies that pass a set of broadly based environmental, social, and governance rating criteria.
