As part of our objective to provide our customers with environmentally sound products, we seek to maximize the use of recycled fiber, while striving to source all required virgin fiber from sustainable forests, even when they are not directly managed by Domtar.
Our commitment to sustainable forest management practices extends to our entire supply chain, and we systematically conduct reviews of our third-party fiber suppliers. We strongly encourage our suppliers to certify their forest management practices according to an internationally recognized certification program that includes a third party audit. The ultimate goal is for Domtar to have all fiber suppliers certified to FSC or equivalent certification standards.
