Mill Information
Espanola Birch Pulp is produced utilizing a batch digester system and Elemental Chlorine Free (ECF) bleaching technology.
Description
Espanola Birch is the strongest hardwood species available, developing high tensile strength double that of mixed northern hardwoods and close to that of southern softwoods, with significantly lower energy requirements. The higher coarseness of hardwood species combined with a low cross-sectional area produces a very dense, well-formed sheet.
Applications
Espanola Birch is ideally suited for printing and writing grades.
