The premium choice for a wide range of applications, featuring a combination of good strength and high porosity.

Characteristics

Porosity: EP Aspen fibers have large lumen and a relatively thin wall. The combination results in a fiber with good collapsibility to form smooth, dense sheets.

Tensile Strength: EP Aspen is produced from a consistent single-species fiber with a strength equal to that of mixed hardwoods. Elemental chlorine free (ECF).

Value-Added Features

Aspen offers good porosity development for smooth sheets with excellent coating holdout. Compared to mixed hardwood, EP Aspen also offers more uniformity and lower dye requirements. High brightness grades mean minimal use of optical brightening agents. EP Aspen is an ideal replacement for mixed pulp due its low pitch content.

Pure Benefits
